Roof replacement is the process of removing the old roof system to the existing deck. The work is completed by cutting the existing roof system into squares. This is accomplished by cutting machines with adjustable heights so not to damage the roof deck. This activity causes noise and debris, which will cause some disturbances. The old material is disposed of in appropriate containers and removed from site. We only take as much roof as we can install in that day to create a leak free roof system. Installing the new roof system consists of layering new insulation and securing to deck. The next step is installing the new membrane and securing to insulation and/or deck. The new roof system will have new flashing detail on all transitions/penetrations. In most cases, there will be new metal coping installed at the end of project on all perimeter walls.
